What do the marks on your papers mean?
Here is the grading scale I will be using this year to assess your child's work this year. O = Outstanding (working above grade level) S+ = More than Satisfactory S = Satisfactory (on grade level) S- = Less than Satisfactory NI = Needs Improvement (below grade level) U = Unsatisfactory (not making progress) Also, some assignments will recieve a check or check minus. A check means that all requirements of the assignment were met, Check minus means that the work was missing something or was too messy. A star means that all expectations were met -- good work. |
